Established in 1982, Montinore Estate is one of the largest producers of certified estate wines made from Biodynamic® grapes in the country. With our 200-acre Demeter Certified Biodynamic® and CCOF Certified Organic vineyard located in north Willamette Valley in Oregon, we focus on producing superior Pinot Noirs, cool climate whites, and fascinating Italian varietals.
Scents of ripe cherry, mushroom and cedar, with hints of tobacco and cocoa nibs coming through slightly. Savory herbs, notably sage, intermingle with a slightly darker version of Parsons’ customary Bing cherry.
Library Selection: The 2011 Reserve Pinot Noir was created through careful barrel selection, mostly from block 9 on our estate vineyard. A little young at time of release with some astringent tannins, we’re excited to re-release this wine that has shown great ageability.
A tradition started in 2014, the best of the best Pinot Gris grapes are selected each harvest and crafted into the Roulette. The 2016 Roulette is exceptional having been made from Block 5. This is a great Pinot Gris!
Planted in 1982, Montinore Estate is a 200-acre Demeter Certified Biodynamic® and Stellar Certified Organic vineyard that lies at the northern end of the Willamette Valley along the east-facing slope of the Coastal Range foothills in Oregon.
Planted in 1999, Tidalstar Vineyard is a 30-acre sustainably, dry-farmed vineyard that sits on an east-facing ridge at an elevation of 500-feet. It is LIVE certified and is in the process of being converted to Demeter Certified Biodynamic®.
Named for the dominant loess soil that characterizes our home vineyards, the Laurelwood Society has four separate clubs designed for wine enthusiasts and beginners alike to experience the true essence of Montinore Estate’s wines.
Mark your calendars! We're thrilled to host several events at our winery throughout the year, along with winemaker dinners, tastings and sponsorships around the country. Many are exclusive to the wine club, a perk not to be missed.
Our tasting room is open seven days a week, from 11:00 am to 5 pm, and closed most major holidays. Nestled near the foothills of the Coast Range, we’re a short drive from Portland or the Oregon Coast. The view, wines and people are all easy to enjoy.
