Crafted with fruit from a variety of growing sites, it is a reflection of the perfect terroir in the Willamette Valley. The warm, dry growing season led to ripe fruit and concentration that is perfectly balanced.
Our Oregon version of an Italian red blend, we've married 34% Lagrein, 27% Sangiovese, 16% Nebbiolo and 13% Teroldego with 10% Pinot Noir to create this smooth, delicious sipper.
The Reserve Pinot is a curated barrel selection from the best vineyard sites each year. The blocks are fermented and aged separately, and then assembled after maturation to create a wine worthy of the "reserve" distinction.
Sangiovese is the primary grape variety used in Chianti. We love working with this fruit sourced from a notable growing site in Washington to create our own interpretation of an Italian favorite.
Rudy describes Montinore Estate’s Nebbiolo as “a Pacific Northwest wine that speaks Italian,” a nod to the roots we cultivate and our family’s Italian roots.
Fruit hailing from Block 1, which is named for the cataclysmic Missoula Floods. Aromas of marionberry, Bing cherry and black currant mingle with fresh earth, wet stone, sage and baking spice. Robust and savory.
Graham's Block 7 is our oldest block in the vineyard. A beautiful blend of Pommard and Wadenswil clones, wine from this block is intense and red-fruit focused. The 2015 vintage was warm, and the wine is balanced and expressive.
The Parsons' Ridge site is on a saddle of the vineyard where the Pinot Noir vines face two different directions, resulting in numerous expressions of the grapes. We ferment lots separately then finesse and blend for the final wine.
Scents of cherry, mushroom and cedar, with hints of tobacco and cocoa nibs coming through slightly. Savory herbs intermingle with a slightly darker version of Parsons’ customary Bing cherry.
Planted with 100% Pommard clone and one of the oldest plantings on the estate, the Parsons’ Ridge block always produces wines of complexity and character. This wine is nicely balanced with plenty of fruit and spice.
Crafted from Block 1 fruit and named for the road that runs adjacent to this section of the vineyard, this is a very amenable Pinot Noir: an easy sipper, but is definitely still complex and layered.
The name comes from a shortened version of "house of Marchesi" in Italian. Crafted from a blend of eight Pinot Noir clones from Rudy Marchesi and his wife's home farm, this is a limited and special offering.
