Montinore Estate is proud once again to bring the celebrated Northern Italian festival of the pig, or Maialata, to Oregon! Partnering with Nostrana chef and owner, Cathy Whims, we invite friends and pork aficionados to join us Sunday, March 4 for this exciting and unique experience.
Featuring the renowned and charismatic Italian master butcher Dario Cecchni, guests will participate in the entire butchery process. Dario is an 8th generation butcher, who has been described as "... a personality, a celebrity, and a butcher extraordinaire. A theatrical host, a show-stopper, and an artist.*
We have an amazing lineup of culinary super stars who will be teaching additional classes throughout the day, such as gnocchi making, foraging, cold smoking and much more!
With this ticket option you can experience the full 90-minute butchery demonstration with Dario Cecchini, hot coffee, Montinore Estate wine flowing all day, a hands-on workshop of your choice, and a beautiful farm lunch by The Nightwood Society.
