The sixth version of this popular Italian-style red blend, Rosso di Marchesi, is a tantalizing blend of Sangiovese, Teroldego, Lagrein, Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir. Densely packed aromas unleash with each swirl, including blackberry jam, raspberry, red currant, anise and tobacco leaf. There is interesting interplay between fruit and savory flavors, with pomegranate, dark chocolate, and Bing cherry. The texture is slightly chewy and finishes on a high, fresh note.
