Teroldego is not very common, even in Italy where it originates. Genetically related to Pinot Noir, we can actually grow it on our estate, at the warmest spot in the vineyard. The wine is characterized by intense color, but it's not heavy or cloying. The 2018 vintage starts off with earthy, herbal and tobacco scents, Black cherry, bramble and blackberry flavors are seasoned with some leather notes. The texture is chewy, thanks to robust tannin.
