2018 Parsons' Ridge Pinot Noir
One of three single-block Pinot Noirs, the 2018 Parsons’ Ridge is a quintessential Willamette Valley Pinot. Made from the Pommard clone and aged in French Oak, the wine exhibits an intoxicating nose of roasted cherry, wood, and steel that will have you dying to taste it. The palate is rich but clean with tons of black fruit and barrel spice. We love the spicy, chocolate tannins and blackberry in its lingering finish, prompting you to refill your glass.
This wine is a blend of select barrels sourced from Block 3, located on a small saddle on the Eastern side of the estate vineyard. On skin maceration lasted 2 weeks, followed by primary fermentation where the wine is lightly pressed off and moved to barrel for full fermentation.
