Montinore Estate’s orange wine, so named for its lovely coral hue, is the result of leaving Pinot Gris on its skins for 24-36 hours, then pressing and later blending in clay amphora-fermented Muscat. The result is an intriguingly aromatic, zesty wine. Aromas of nectarine skin, apricot, white flowers ,and melon lead to flavors of orange pith, citrus, ruby red grapefruit and nutmeg. The finish is bright and energetic, lending itself to a wide array of food pairings.
