2017 First Sight Pinot Noir

This is Montinore Estate’s first vintage of First Sight Pinot, sourced from an amazing vineyard partner in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The aromas are distinctively dark fruit-centric, with black cherry, marionberry and black currant mixing and mingling with a hint of roasted coffee beans. Satiny smooth on the palate, plum, black tea, and pomegranate are warmly with cedar and baking spice. The finish is zesty and textural, thanks to age-worthy tannin and structure.
Fruit from First Sight is sourced from the vineyard block that receives the first light of sun over the Cascades. It’s as pretty as its name and a beautiful wine to cellar or to offer at a special dinner. Those who appreciate Pinot Noir will recognize this wine as a fine example of wine from this distinctive AVA.
