Lagrein hails from the most northern part of Italy and is a relative of Pinot Noir. Grown at the warmest spot on our vineyard, the Lagrein exhibits a characteristic inky, purple color. Intense aromas of dried blueberry, plum, tar and leather introduce this unique wine. A chewy mouthful of black cherry, blackberry, anise and dried herbs leaves a lasting impression. Food-friendly acidity and firm tannin pack a memorable punch.
