2015 White and Grey
A small selection of Sauvignon Blanc was included in the estate vineyard when it was first planted in 1982. It was abandoned after only a few years. In 2006, we gleaned cuttings from that old block and replanted a few rows. This intriguing blend of equal parts Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris is a light and versatile sipper.
Fruit from the few rows of Sauvignon Blanc we have planted in the estate vineyard is blended with adjacent rows of Pinot Gris to create a unique wine with a personality of its own. The nose is slightly smoky, with toasted nuts and hints of aromatic jasmine and white lilies. Toasted almond, citrus pith, and tart apple flavors are buoyed by delicate acidity.
