This unique variety, which hails from the Dolomite region of Northern Italy, is characterized by its distinctively intense aromas. Its namesake is from a traditional method of cultivation on wire harnesses, or “tirelles.”
Grown in the warmest corner of our vineyard, this Teroldego is deeply colored, well-structured with earthiness that mingles with dark fruit to forge a bold, elaborate wine experience. This estate-grown Teroldego is scented with dense plum, Bing cherry bramble, earth and wet stone and is reminiscent of its old world roots. A robust mouthful of black raspberry, cherry cordial, blackberry, violets and warm vanilla bean, are lifted and lengthened by robust tannins and juicy acidity.
