Established in 1982, Montinore Estate is the largest producer of certified estate wines made from Biodynamic® grapes in the country. With our 200-acre Demeter Certified Biodynamic® and Stellar Certified Organic vineyard located in north Willamette Valley in Oregon, we focus on producing superior Pinot Noirs, cool climate whites, and fascinating Italian varietals.
The foundation of the Pinot Rosé is based on early picking to ensure bright acid and fruit. The use of Saignée with later ripening Pinot Noir is also added to offer more mature red fruit flavors and body.
Vivacé is a sparkling wine with a fragrant nose of orange blossom, lemon, lime, honey and a hint of ginger while the exuberant palate features juicy green apple, ripe melon, lime zest and citrus confectionary.
The 2013 Cataclysm is a youthful and layered Pinot Noir. Winemaker Stephen Webber describes this wine as waiting to blossom. It’s great now, but holds much promise for the future. Enjoy now on special offer.
Planted in 1982, Montinore Estate is a 200-acre Demeter Certified Biodynamic® and Stellar Certified Organic vineyard that lies at the northern end of the Willamette Valley along the east-facing slope of the Coastal Range foothills in Oregon.
Planted in 1999, Tidalstar Vineyard is a 30-acre sustainably, dry-farmed vineyard that sits on an east-facing ridge at an elevation of 500-feet. It is LIVE certified and is in the process of being converted to Demeter Certified Biodynamic®.
Named for the dominant loess soil that characterizes our home vineyards, the Laurelwood Society has four separate clubs designed for wine enthusiasts and beginners alike to experience the true essence of Montinore Estate’s wines.
Mark your calendars! We're thrilled to host several events at our winery throughout the year, along with winemaker dinners, tastings and sponsorships around the country. Many are exclusive to the wine club, a perk not to be missed.
Our tasting room is open seven days a week, from 11:00 am to 5 pm, and closed most major holidays. Nestled near the foothills of the Coast Range, we’re a short drive from Portland or the Oregon Coast. The view, wines and people are all easy to enjoy.
