Oregon's Willamette Valley is an ideal site for growing cool-climate, aromatic white varieties, much like Northern Alsace in France. The Opulence Collection is a curated selection of estate-grown white varietals, such as Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. Ranging from dry to sweet as well as in between, these wines have broad appeal.
This unusual blend is an even percentage of estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris (hence the name White and Grey) and is lively, bright and fresh. Sunny scents of yellow plum, pear, golden raspberry and starfruit are accented with light herbal notes. The silky mouthfeel carries flavors of citrus zest, kumquat, pineapple, and nettles. Peppy and clean acidity leaves a refreshing, thirst-quenching finish.
Aromas of rose petal, ripe lychee and pink grapefruit lead to a rich, silky texture of honeydew and peach. A distinctive floral, zesty and dry finish lingers on the palate. A long skin soak lends to this wine’s complexity.
