Oregon's Willamette Valley is an ideal site for growing cool-climate, aromatic white varieties, much like Northern Alsace in France. The Opulence Collection is a curated selection of estate-grown white varietals, such as Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. Ranging from dry to sweet as well as in between, these wines have broad appeal.
This reserve Riesling is produced from 34-year-old, own-rooted vines on south facing slopes at the edge of Graham Lake. This wine is expressive, flavorful and unique with an array of citrus, floral and tropical flavors.
Aromas of rose petal, ripe lychee and pink grapefruit lead to a rich, silky texture of honeydew and peach. A distinctive floral, zesty and dry finish lingers on the palate. A long skin soak lends to this wine’s complexity.
To highlight the lovely qualities of this variety, we selected the best fruit from our estate vineyard for this reserve Müller-Thurgau. Wild yeasts and small lot fermentations provided complexity and depth of flavors.
