2019 L'Orange

L'Orange gets its unique color and structure from soaking Pinot Gris on skins, similiar to red wines. While Pinot Gris typically makes a white wine, contact with its beautiful skins allows for a stunning salmon-pink hue to develop. Blend in fragrant Muscat Ottonel that has been fermented on its skins in clay amphora, and something magical happens. Wafts of peach, candied citrus, white flowers and a pinch of nutmeg introduce the 2019 vintage. The palate is complex and structured, highlighted by apricot, citrus pith, papaya, and Rainer Cherry. A backbone of acidity offers buoyancy and a mouthwatering finish.

2017 Reserve Pinot Noir

Each vintage, Montinore Estate's Reserve Pinot Noir is crafted from a curated barrel selection from the best growing sites on the vineyard for that year. These blocks are fermented and aged separately, and then assembled after maturation through rigorous blending trials. From this process, Benjamin and the winemaking team creates a cuvee worthy of the "reserve" distinction. Lashings of dark fruit characterize this gratifying wine, including aromas of marionberry jam, black cherry, cedar, baking spice and a hint of smoke that introduce the rich palate of black plum, a hint of meatiness, freshly tilled earth and a continuation of baking spice. The spirited finish is a result of lithe tannin and balanced acidity.

Both of these wines are certified Biodynamic and Organic.
