The Parsons' Ridge block is situated on the saddle of the vineyard allowing the vines to face two different directions. As a result, these grapes are expressive in different ways. We ferment lots separately which we finesse through blending to come up with the final wine.
Hardy scents of dark cherries, sarsparilla, tobacco and clove start this appealing combination of depth and richness. The palate is packed with fruit, including black plum, loganberry, dried cherry, and mission fig. Warming cedar notes linger on the high-toned finish.
